Both Medley's call name and registered names were chosen by Cael. He is the swimmer in the family and when the litter was born we didn't have a theme. They were born a day early and we were at a  swim meet until about 3 pm and the first puppy was born about 6 pm. Cael swims the team medley and the individual medley and it's one of the hardest events that there are, with coaches telling them to swim through the pain!

We had plans to keep 2 girls from the litter and early on did not have a lot of homes waiting so we were unsure what 2 were staying. That's when a friend of ours introduced us to Gina Dattilo. Gina is a long time breeder of American Staffordshire Terriers and Chiahuahuas. Her granddaughter who lives in Florida y but visits throughout the year helps Gina show. Gianna was starting to loose passion for the show ring, but once Medley came along, its a whole new story!

Gianna is Medley's primary handler and in their first 3 weekends out have won:

- 1st place with competition Junior Showmanship (Midland, Mi)

-Owner Handled Group 4 (Midland, Mi)

-4 point Major (Grayslake, Ill) 

-4 point Major (Monroe, Mi)

I am so absolutely thrilled with my decision to have Medley join Gianna in her dog show adventures and can't wait what this Young team does together!
