Her Story
Lux is a favorite of ours here at Coldwater. Like her dad, Peter, she's been special right from the start. I picked her as our keeper from the first time I saw her. She's not only beautiful but she has the sweetest of personalties. She charms everyone she meets into loving her.

She's had a whirlwind career in the show ring. She started in February of 2022 with a 4 point major her first time in the ring. We then let her take time off to grow up a bit. Her next ring adventures were in September 2022 at "Beaglefest" in Amana, Iowa. She was winners bitch at the NBC Midwest regional, Amana Beagle Classic and All Breed shows for 3 more majors (5,5,3) and her championship. She was also 3rd in a lovely 15" 12-18 month old class at the 2022 National Beagle Club Specialty.

We let our little "Ugly Duckling" take a year off to continue to grow into the beautiful girl we knew she could be. Lux made her first appearance as a "special" at Beaglefest 2023! She was entered 3 times and was 3 times awarded Select over some of the top female specials in the country. Leaving the hard parts of her grand championship title in the dust.

As of March 2024 she is just 3 single points shy of her Grand Championship. She's aslo won some nice owner handler BOV's and is getting used to going to the group.
