Her Story
Putter is a dream that came to fruition. When we decided to do the Mackey x Betty breeding, I had hoped for a pretty red girl, and that's what I got.
This litter is so special to me because it contains ever female in breeding program since my return in 2014. Latte, Chili, Lucy, Story and Wanda (through her brother Case)- I consider this breeding the pinnacle of my breeding program.
Pinnacle (noun)- The most successful point, the culmination. What better name for a beautiful red female that I've been longing for. So the perfect name was born. Then I needed a theme for the rest of the litter and her call name. Pinnacle is also a golf ball brand and the Golf litter followed.
Putter certainly has started off on the right foot in the show ring. She has a BPUP Group 2 and a BPUP BIS. At 6 months and 1 day old she garnered reserve to a 5 point major under breeder judge Lesley Hiltz. At 6 months and 2 weeks she was RWB twice to her half sister (same sire) and once WB for 2 points. At 7 months she went to Beaglefest in Amana Iowa and placed 2nd in class at WBC and won her sweepstakes class.
We can't wait to see what this sweet and spicy red head accomplishes in the future.
